Causes of Quadriplegia
Quadriplegia is generally caused by an injury to the spinal cord along any of the seven cervical vertebrae in the neck. With a spinal cord injury in or near the neck, the victim can lose complete sensory and motor functions in all four limbs, and in worst-case scenarios, there could be paralysis in the chest and diaphragm, meaning that the victim will need a ventilator to breathe and other medical devices to speak or swallow, for instance.

Quadriplegia can occur in a variety of ways; however, the most common accidents leading to this level of paralysis include automobile accidents and workplace injuries. This injury can also result from infections, malpractice, slips and falls, premises liability, and other avoidable situations.

Quadriplegia
Of all the injuries that a person could incur from an accident, quadriplegia is perhaps one of the most devastating. If you or a loved one was in an accident that resulted in paralysis of all four limbs, you could be facing a lifetime of physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

In addition to months of acute and rehabilitative care, the injured individual will require modifications to his/her living quarters, equipment and medical devices designed for mobility, and ongoing care that will likely endure for the rest of his/her life.

If you or a loved one was injured due to the carelessness of another, G. Gray Law will put their extensive experience, skills, and practical knowledge of quadriplegia cases to use, helping you acquire the compensation you need and deserve.
